Next we detail different features of the SugarCRM Connector.
Call log
It's possible to accede incoming/outgoing calls from the next places in SugarCRM:
- From the upper SugarCRM menu > Activities > Calls you can consult every received or made call.
- From the contact, account or user card in the History section. Calls appear listed beside other interactions like email.
Notifications
Notifications, if configured for a logged user in SugarCRM, will appear at the low-right corner of SugarCRM interface. These notifications show in the upper level the contact's name with access to his card below. If SugarCRM don't recognize the phone number it will appear as is. Under the contact's name will appear an icon that allows you to relate a call with an existing or new contact. Finally, in the lower level you can write a note related with the call content that can be consulted lately.
Making calls
SugarCRM Connector allows you to make calls from the SugarCRM interface too, without dial number in your phone. It's enough to accede one card (contact, account, user, lead...) and click on the phone icon next to phone number. This will create a call between logged user and phone number.
